Standard 7-leaf rear spring including front bush: P5 3 Ltr / P5B models
These springs have been developed exclusively for our company and tested by a P5 owner who has over 30 years of experience with P5 Rovers.
These springs now incorporate nylon anti-friction discs between the leaves and slotted holes for rear spring bush to allow for adjustment which is a great improvement over a fixed hole.
Please note – these springs are not made by the supplier promoted and advertised by the P5 Club Committee which have experienced serious problems as posted on the Forum by P5 club members.
Price each – 2 springs per car
We would strongly recommend that springs are only changed in pairs to avoid an imbalance in suspension
When installing the springs you might consider applying some Castrol HT grease – please click here – for lubrication and then wrapping the springs in greased tape – please click here – for maximum protection against corrosion. We find that this method works better than rear spring gaiters originally fitted which can trap water once split.
